Frozen II – Film Review

Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven leave Arendelle to travel to an ancient, autumn-bound forest of an enchanted land. They set out to find the origin of Elsa’s powers in order to save their kingdom. What they find helps to explain the origins of Elsa’s magic and reveal the fate of their parents.

It’s a big task to follow up the smash hit success of 2013’s Frozen, and Disney have spent the 6 years between films in their typical fashion laboriously crafting a compelling story, & employing an army of animators to deliver a truly breathtaking spectacle.

In a packed screening on the first after school session on the day of release, little girls dressed as the lead characters danced in the aisles to the many musical numbers and kids roared with laughter at the antics of Olaf the snowman in all the right spots. Full of humour, heart and an environmental message to take care of what we have (left), Frozen 2 is another Disney classic that is “A Stunning Achievement in Animated Storytelling”.
