Film Review – The Beatles: Eight Days a Week

Back to the Howard family and Ron Howard has assembled a tonne of previously seen footage as well as some rare material to give us a two hour snapshot of the Beatles Touring Years in The Beatles Eight Days a week.

I didn’t know a great deal about the Beatles, so found this overview of their career from 1963 to 1966 when they had had enough of screaming teenagers and quit the road for the safety of the studio utterly compelling, entertaining, thoroughly informative and jam-packed with their catchiest hits. Beatles fanatics may be on familiar ground, but it knocked my socks off. Only in cinemas for one week, so get in before Thursday.
