Film Review – Grimsby

GRIMSBY

Sacha Baron Cohen aims as low as possible in his twisted take on spy films. Like a Bourne movie on drugs he takes a dash of Mission Impossible, a pinch of Austen Powers and a dose of Bond, puts it in a blender with the most distasteful gags he can come up with including jokes about terminal illnesses, Harry Potter, communicable diseases, genitals and the working class.

Some truly hilarious moments that get laugh out loud laughs, plus a bunch that make you groan, so it is a patchy result. Not his best work, but worth a look if it’s some super wrong comedy you need.
